RuneSquire respects your privacy. We collect minimal data, never sell your information, and are transparent about what we do with your data.

What We Collect

Free Tier Users:

  • No personal information required
  • Anonymous usage statistics (feature usage, crash reports)
  • Local preferences stored on your device only

Pro Users:

  • Email address (for account management)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe, not stored by us)
  • Settings and preferences (for cloud sync)
  • Anonymous usage analytics

How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and improve RuneSquire features
  • Process subscription payments (Pro users)
  • Send important updates about the service
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve UX
  • Debug crashes and technical issues

RuneScape Data

RuneSquire does NOT:

  • Access your RuneScape account credentials
  • Read game memory or inject code
  • Store your in-game actions or chat logs
  • Share your RuneScape username with third parties

RuneSquire only reads publicly visible screen information (like Alt1 Toolkit) to provide guidance. All RuneScape-related data stays local on your device.

Data Sharing

We never sell your data. We only share data with:

  • Stripe: Payment processing (Pro subscriptions)
  • Hosting providers: To run our servers (encrypted, anonymized)
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (opt-out available)

Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of your data

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be announced via email (Pro users) or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
